***Proclamation of a State of Emergency ***

Pursuant to the Henderson County Emergency Management Ordinance and Chapter 166 A of North Carolina’s General Statutes and Article 36A of Chapter 14 of North Carolina’s General Statutes, the County Manager has determined that a State of Emergency as defined in the County Emergency Management Ordinance exists in Henderson County because of damage occurring from Hurricane Joaquin and other associated weather events beginning October 2,2015.
