Headquartered within Jackson Park, the Recreation Department provides recreational activities for Henderson County citizens. Henderson County currently has eight county parks.

Essential Departmental Functions: The purpose of the Henderson County Recreation Department is to provide a safe, fulfilling, and wholesome recreational outlet for the citizens of Henderson County. The department strives to offer varied recreational sports, cultural, outdoor, and service activities for all groups.
