Chapter 200A, Henderson County Land Development Code
Henderson County developed Chapter 200A, Henderson County Land Development Code and the Official Zoning Map in order to help direct and manage growth. The formal Board of Commissioners review process which led to the adoption of Chapter 200A, began in December 2006. On September 19, 2007 the Board of Commissioners unanimously voted to adopt the Land Development Code and Zoning Map as County Ordinance. A series of amendments to the text of the Land Development Code and Official Zoning Map have occured since the initial adoption of the ordinance and map. Below is the most current ordinance as amended.
