- January, 2010: Commercial/Industrial Zoning Map Changes for Etowah and Horse Shoe
- February, 2010: Residential Zoning Map Changes for Etowah and Horse Shoe
- March - April, 2010: Open Space Plan and open space requirements for major subdivisions in Etowah and Horse Shoe
- May, 2010: Access Management Standards on Etowah and Horse Shoe Key Routes (US 64, Brickyard Road, etc.) [The County Transportation Advisory Committee may also review this issue.]
- July-August, 2010: Design requirements for Etowah and Horse Shoe (Overlay District for Setbacks, Building Materials for Commercial Buildings, signs, other LDC text unique to Etowah and Horse Shoe)
- September, 2010: Discussion of draft text for Etowah and Horse Shoe Overlay Zoning District (to implement above issues)
- October, 2010: Formal review and public input for all LDC text changes and Zoning Map changes for Etowah and Horse Shoe
