The Henderson County transfer station (landfill) and Convenience Center are located off of Stoney Mountain Road. From downtown Hendersonville travel North on Asheville Highway (Highway 25) approximately 1.5 miles, then turn left on Stoney Mountain Road. Travel on Stoney Mountain Road for about 1.5 miles to reach the Convenience Center on the right; the Transfer Station is about a quarter of a mile beyond it on the right.

The Animal Shelter is located adjacent to the Henderson County landfill. From downtown Hendersonville travel North on Asheville Highway (Highway 25) approximately 1.5 miles, then turn left on Stoney Mountain Road. The Animal Shelter will be on your right near the end of Stoney Mountain Road, next to the landfill.
