Ken Redden, who is in his twentieth year with the Inspections Department, is now working with the Department on a part time basis after having announced his retirement. He does building inspections along with some mechanical and plumbing inspections. He has seen the needs of the Building Industry in Henderson County change drastically since he came on board in 1982. He states that there is no value that can be placed on the friendships he has made over the years.

Ken is known for his professionalism and dedication as he continues to perform the tasks of his position.

 

Ben Harrison, who is the most senior electrical inspector, recently announced his retirement after 17 years of service with Henderson County. The department now has his expertise on a part time basis. For a number of years Ben performed most of the electrical inspections. During his employment with Henderson County Ben has made many friends and says that he has enjoyed working in the Inspections Department.
