Diaphragms

A diaphragm is a rubber cap that fits over the woman's cervix to block sperm from entering into the uterus. The diaphragm is most effective when used with spermicides. It does not prevent sexually transmitted infections. It is available by prescription, and requires a woman to have a fitting by a healthcare professional.
