Henderson County GIS is a division of
the Information
Technology Department. The GIS division provides training, data
development, application development and technical support to the county
departments, the four municipalities
and other government
agencies.
Henderson GIS also provides Internet-based GIS solutions for the general public.
Our GIS
Online site is an online resource anyone can use. For the more
experienced users who have ESRI GIS software
we provide several different options including an image service, a feature
streaming service and an FTP download site for ArcView 3.x users. For directions

Henderson County is a participant in
NCOneMap, a cooperative
website project involving North Carolina county, state and federal agencies.
The site is a demonstration of partnerships and Internet mapping technology
that displays map information simultaneously from databases that reside throughout
North Carolina and elsewhere in the nation.
