Utilities is a Division of the Engineering Department.
Essential Departmental Functions are to operate and maintain the Cane Creek Water and Sewer District and a small wastewater treatment plant at the North Carolina Justice Academy in Edneyville. Currently Cane Creek provides sewer services in portions of Fletcher, Mills River and surrounding unincorporated areas of the County.
