The Henderson County Manager is appointed by the Board of Commissioners.
Essential Departmental Functions: The Office of the Henderson County Manager is located in the Historic Courthouse at 1 Historic Courthouse Square. The Office of the Henderson County Manager includes staff responsible for implementing the directives and policies of the Board of Commissioners, as well as managing the day-to-day responsibilities of general county government, and developing the annual budget. The County Manager's staff includes the county manager, the assistant county manager, the administrative assistant, the public information officer, the research and budget analyst, and the internal auditor.
