§ 16-56. Unlawful killing or releasing of certain animals.
It shall be unlawful for any person to kill or release any dog or cat under observation for rabies, suspected of having
been exposed to rabies, or biting a human, or to remove such dog or cat from the County without written permission
from the County Director of Public Health. Violation of this section shall be subject to penalties as prescribed in
§
16-58.
