G.    Transfer of Ownership—Canine Officer Bella of the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office

  Requests the Board allow Sheriff Charles McDonald and the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office to transfer ownership of Canine Officer Bella to Deputy Robert Pace

H.    Renewal of WCCA lease of former Etowah library

Requests the Board approve the renewed lease with WCCA for the former Etowah library

I.       Adopt financing resolution for Edneyville School construction project

Requests the Board approve the Resolution authorizing the negotiation of an installment financing contract and providing for certain other related matters

J.       Set Public Hearing for Land Development Code (LDC) Text Amendments (TX-2018-01, TX- 2018-02, and TX-2018-03)

  Requests the Board set a public hearing on the proposed Land Development Code Text Amendments (TX- 2018-01, TX-2018-02, and TX-2018-03) for Monday, March 5, 2018 at 5:30 p.m.

K.    Budget Amendment – Hurricane Matthew

  Requests the Board approve the budget amendment authorizing the receipt of funds as reimbursement for the Hurricane Matthew deployment and provide reimbursement to the partner agencies as approved in the State reimbursement package

L.     Budget Amendment – Party Rock Fire

  Requests the Board approve the budget amendment authorizing the receipt of funds as reimbursement for the Party Rock Fire and provide reimbursement to the partner agencies as approved in the FEMA application process

M.   Nurse Care Manager Position expansion (Public Health Nurse II)

      Requests the Board approve expansion of a position from 60%, to a full time employee     

N.    Non-Profit Performance Agreements

Requests the Board authorize the Chairman to execute the funding agreement and authorize the release of the payment

O.    Approval of easement to Duke Energy for underground power line at Emergency Services Headquarters site

Requests the Board grant the proposed easement to Duke Energy

DISCUSSION

A.  Tax Collector's Report - Order Advertising Taxes

Requests the Board enter the proposed Order directing the Tax collector to advertise the delinquent real property tax liens for 2017, and direct the Tax Collector to publish such advertisement pursuant to the General Statutes

B.   Firm Selection for Northern and Southern Oklawaha Greenway Feasibility Studies

Requests the Board select Equinox as the firm for the Oklawaha Greenway Extension Feasibility Studies and authorize   staff to negotiate a contract with Equinox

C.   Solid Waste Hauler Complaint – Waste Pro

 Update by County Engineer regarding the issue
